New Directions for Digital Scholarship Claire Warwick, Professor of Digital Humanities at University College London (UCL), will deliver the keynote address at the New Directions for Digital Scholarship Fall Chapter, a free event on November 15th, 2013 at the Whitney Humanities Center. Professor Warwick read English at Cambridge. Drawing from her experience in electronic publishing and computing, she has designed post-graduate programs in Web Journalism and Digital Humanities. Warwick is now Head of UCL Department of Information Studies, where she supervises PhD students working on various topics in digital humanities and social media. Her address will be followed by a spotlight on recent Yale digital humanities projects, including the new Open Access Scholarly Repository, Mining Digital Magazine Archives, Image Analysis Tools for Manuscripts, Teaching Across and with Yale's Digital Himalayan Collections, and Photogrammar, the first Yale DH Start-Up Grant Project sponsored by the NEH.
